"Summer reading." Program for August 24-25

On August 24, the Summer Reading Of the SWAO Libraries in Grandma's Park will host Film Day. 

At 12:00 children will be waiting for an art lecture "What is the script made of?" The guys will learn what the main theme of the work can be, talk about the characters and even learn about the types of conflicts in the script. After that, they will apply new knowledge in practice – try to insert photos and drawings with unusual subjects in their story. The smallest visitors will be reincarnated as heroes of favorite fairy tales and even be able to come up with a new ending for them, and the older – will turn the famous movie plot into a western, a drama or a horror film.

From 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., the reading office will tell about the history of the Babushkin district. Guests will find out why the streets and cinema near the park bear the names "Northern" and why the flag and coat of arms of the district depict a plane, a sword and a hammer. The audience will be told about the polar pilot Mikhail Babushkin, after whom the district is named.

At 16:00 children and their parents will unravel cheerful charades and puzzles, and at the same time pump care and ingenuity.


August 25 at the Summer Reading Library of SWAO in Grandma's Park – Local History Day.

At 12:00 a.m., the My District quiz will begin. Visitors will learn about the history of the Yaroslavl region and try to guess the riddles about its attractions. 

From 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., there will be a lecture "My Little" about different periods of one of the most beautiful districts of the capital, its history, key events and residents.

At 16:00 in the reading box will open a retro photo gallery "On the dachas of Yaroslavl, where everyone will be able to learn about the period when the area was a summer village, a suburb of Moscow.
